A dumpster rental from Altapeak Rolloffs includes 7, 10, 14 or 30 days depending on the container. There is no blanket period, because a bigger box is on a longer job.

What Can You Put in a Dumpster?
Altapeak Rolloffs accepts household junk and construction debris in every dumpster rental, and refuses nine materials outright. Yard waste and concrete are the two that surprise people, because plenty of haulers take them.
- Household junk and furnitureSofas, carpet, boxes, shelving and the contents of a cleanout.
- Construction and demolition debrisLumber, drywall, trim, cabinets, doors, subfloor and fixtures.
- Roofing shinglesAccepted, and the reason a roof gets sized by weight rather than volume.

Dumpster Weight Limits and Overage Charges
Altapeak Rolloffs bills dumpster weight past the included tonnage against a certified scale at the disposal facility. That ticket sets the figure on your invoice, and we go through the whole total with you before anything is delivered.
Every container carries two limits and a load can hit either first. Volume is how much space there is. Tonnage is how much that space may weigh. A 15 yard filled with shingles reaches its weight limit while the walls still look half empty.
Stepping up a size buys volume, not weight allowance. The 15 yard and the 20 yard both include 2 tons, so moving between them buys five more cubic yards and the same tonnage. Loading
Can a Dumpster Be Filled Above the Rail?
Altapeak Rolloffs cannot haul a dumpster filled above the top rail. A load above the rail cannot be tarped, which makes it illegal to move and gets it turned away at the scale.
That is a DOT rule, not a company policy. If the pile will run over, the answer is a bigger container.
Heavy Material
Can You Put Concrete in a Dumpster?
Altapeak Rolloffs does not accept concrete, brick, asphalt or dirt in a dumpster rental, because those materials need a dedicated heavy container the company does not run.
A general debris container hits its axle rating on broken concrete long before it looks half full, which is why the two are separate products across this trade.

Do You Rent 10 Yard Dumpsters?
Altapeak Rolloffs runs three dumpster rental sizes: 15, 20 and 30 yard. There is no 10 yard in the fleet.
Plenty of haulers carry one, so if a 10 yard is genuinely what the job needs, ask elsewhere. For most jobs people ask a 10 yard about, the 15 yard, which fits a single-car driveway, is the closer fit.

How much driveway space does a dumpster actually need?
Allow the length of the container plus roughly 10 feet at the back for the truck to tilt and roll it off, and check for anything overhead. Every container is 7 feet wide, so width is rarely the problem.
Can I put furniture and appliances in the same load as construction debris?
Yes. Mixed loads are normal and cost no extra. The only sorting that matters is keeping the prohibited list out, and keeping concrete separate.
What if I pick the wrong size?
Call before the truck is loaded and it is a simple change. Once a container is on your driveway, swapping it means a pickup and a second delivery, booked and charged as two moves.
Does the container have a door at the end?
Yes. All three sizes have a swing door on the back so you can walk heavy items in rather than lift them over the wall. Leave a few feet of clearance behind it if you plan to use the door.
Is a bigger dumpster always the safer choice?
Not always. A bigger container gives more room but the same or only slightly more tonnage, so on a heavy load it costs more without solving anything.
