1. Who we are

Altapeak Rolloffs LLC is a roll off dumpster rental company based in Commerce City, Colorado. We deliver containers across Adams, Arapahoe, Jefferson and the City and County of Denver.

This policy covers altapeakrolloffs.com and explains what we do with information you give us. If anything here is unclear, email customerservice@altapeakrolloffs.com and we will explain it in plain terms.

2. What we collect

We collect what we need to deliver a container and no more.

When you use the booking form

• Your name, phone number and email address
• The delivery address, including city and ZIP code
• The container size, the material going in it and the date you want it
• Where you want the container placed
• Anything you type into the notes field, such as a gate code or access instructions

When you use the contact form

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Whatever you write in the message

When you call or email us

We keep a record of the conversation, the number or address you contacted us from, and anything you tell us about the job. This is how we know what was agreed if a question comes up later.

Automatically, when you visit the site

• Your approximate location, at city level, from your IP address
• Which pages you looked at and how long you stayed
• The browser and device you used
• The site or search that sent you here

3. What we do not collect

We do not take payment on this website and we never handle card details. There is no checkout, no payment page and no card field anywhere on altapeakrolloffs.com. The booking form sends us a request. Payment is arranged separately once we have confirmed the container, the date and the price with you directly.

We also do not collect Social Security numbers, dates of birth, financial account details, health information or any other sensitive category. There is no reason a dumpster rental would need any of it.

4. How we use it

• To respond to your booking request or your question
• To schedule, deliver and collect a container
• To route the truck and check the placement is workable
• To send you a confirmation and, later, an invoice
• To keep a record of what was agreed
• To understand which pages of the site are useful, in aggregate

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with anybody for their own marketing, and we do not run advertising on this site.

5. Analytics and Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how the site is used. It tells us things like which pages people read before they book and which ones they leave. That is useful for improving the site and it is the only reason we run it.

Google Analytics sets cookies and receives an anonymized version of your IP address. It does not receive your name, your phone number or anything you typed into a form. Google processes that data on its own terms, which are at policies.google.com/privacy.

If you would rather not be counted at all, Google publishes a browser opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and most browsers have a “do not track” setting.

6. Google Business Profile and reviews

We have a Google Business Profile and customers leave reviews on it. Those reviews, and the names attached to them, are published by Google rather than by us. We can reply to a review and we can ask Google to remove one that breaks its rules, but we cannot edit or delete somebody else’s review ourselves.

If we quote a review on this site we use the name exactly as it appears publicly on Google. If you left us a review and would rather it was not quoted here, email us and we will take the quote off the site. Removing the review itself is something only you or Google can do.

7. Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website leaves on your device. This site uses two kinds.

• Necessary cookies, set by WordPress, which keep the site working and remember things like whether you are logged in. There are no logins for customers, so most visitors never get one.
• Analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics, which count visits and pages. These are the ones described in section 5.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking analytics cookies does not stop you using any part of this site, including the booking form.

8. Who we share it with

A short list, and all of it is necessary to run the business.

• Our website host and form provider, who store the request until we act on it
• Google, for the analytics described above
• Our drivers, who need the address and the placement instructions to make the delivery
• The disposal facility, which receives the load and issues the scale ticket. It receives the load, not your details
• Our accountant and our insurer, where a specific job requires it
• Law enforcement or a court, if we are legally required to

9. How long we keep it

• Booking and job records: seven years, which is what our accountant and Colorado tax rules require.
• Inquiries that never became a job: two years, then deleted.
• Analytics data: fourteen months, which is the Google Analytics retention setting we use.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See section 11.

10. Your rights under Colorado law

The Colorado Privacy Act gives Colorado residents specific rights over personal data. You can ask us to do any of the following.

• Confirm and access. Tell you whether we hold anything about you, and give you a copy.
• Correct. Fix anything we hold that is wrong.
• Delete. Remove what we hold, subject to the record-keeping we are legally required to do.
• Portability. Give you your data in a format you can take elsewhere.
• Opt out. Stop us using your data for targeted advertising, for sale, or for profiling that has a legal effect on you. For the record, we do none of those three.

Exercising any of these costs nothing and we will not treat you differently for asking. If we turn a request down we will tell you why, and you can appeal to us directly. If you are still not satisfied, you can complain to the Colorado Attorney General.

11. How to make a request

Tell us what you want us to do and give us enough detail to find your records, usually the phone number or email address you used. We may need to check you are who you say you are before we act, because handing somebody else’s booking details to the wrong person would be the worse mistake.

We respond within 45 days. If a request is complicated enough to need longer, we will tell you inside those 45 days and explain why.

12. Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anybody under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant we will say what changed rather than leaving you to compare versions.
